Pretty Fun
I like horror movies and games. This is quite fun! It is really scary when I try to imagine myself in the situation of the main character of the game... well, you perfectly conveyed that atmosphere, bravo!

Cool game
Cool game and all but after a while I got dizzy...
Cool... Good work
[BAD: ]
When the badguys come in a bunch, it gets quite hard... Actually a flaw but I just find it a little stressful. When I get the hang out of it, it'll be OK. And you need to fix the loading. I'll tell you how.
[GOOD:]
It reminds me of one of my games and also Megaman X series. That's cool. The 3D is also cool. You used my first AG preloader and that's cool too!
[My rating: 4 stars. Wooo!]
Fixing the loading:
I believe that loading problem is caused by a lot of stuff (usually those symbols that you define for linkage export) being loaded in the first frame. Those stuff blocks off the loading page because in order for the preloader to come out, everything in the first frame (80% of the game) has to be displayed. You can try to test your movie in flash and open the bandwidth profiler thing. Check if the first frame that is to be loaded contains a high byte size.
If this is the case, the solution is to create an empty frame somewhere that WILL NOT be part of the game. Maybe in a new scene at the back. Insert all movie clips (with linkage) on the stage there. Then in the library, uncheck "Export in first frame" for all the movie clips that you just dragged on to the stage. This basically just asks flash not to load everything (that needs to be exported) on the first preloader frame and load it instead somewhere at the back.
I hope that is the case and solves your problem. Sorry for typing this in the review section but the author requested.

Yeah, I tried that; I made a new frame in the back, added a clip, and a music file, and unchecked both; neither showed up in the game afterwards. Not sure what I did wrong... if you could help, my email is cmahar@hotmail.com - get it in touch with me there.
Now for your comments:
The bad guys need to be fixed, and I have a way of doing that for BM2, I think. Some of them are just too tough: I mean, they aren't for me, but then, I've been playing this game essentially for a year. I think I need to take that more into account next time.
As for the graphics; yes, they suck at times. I'm not an artist, I'm a programmer. The few that are ok come from sprites that have been drawn over - if the main character reminds you of megaman, that's because his walk cycle was the basis for the animation. Hence, the credit to PMM in the credits.
Beats the rest
The bads and goods of your game, in my opinion.
[BAD:]
Well, if you'd like to know what I think the disadvantages of this game are, it's mainly the filesize. Don't get me wrong, the reason the filesize is small is to aid people who use dialup or extraordinarily slow college DSL (like me) to be able to enjoy it.
I DID enjoy it, but that's not how a lot NG voters will see it. They'll look at the filesize and say (this is crap) before really playing much and vote low, and in the process, limiting the potential (publicity wise) of your awesome game.
[GOOD:]
The filesize too. It's small, so I can painlessly load it. Thank you for that. And the gameplay was simple. I skipped all the instructions and was still able to play it! But I'm a natural and also a flash game maker, so it's no surprise.
And the multimedia presentation (menus and stuff), really awesome. I make these stuff myself and I'm no n00b, so take it from me, this game's super awesome.
Not mentioning names but in my opinion, this game should score higher than the other games submitted today. Maybe a daily first or a frontpage.
Final Note: I haven't played all levels but when I find the time, I'll... you know what, maybe I'll just save the file in my USB and bring it home to play it.
[My rating: 5 stars]
Cool Stuff
[BAD:]
Nothing's really bad, but I'd say the game's quite simple. And that really ain't a bad thing too...
[GOOD:]
Hey, that was a good game. I mean it. I can't explain why but I like it a lot.
Note: It's similar to my bubble game but using a space ship instead. From a gondorian flash author to another, "This is a neat piece of work!"
I see that a lot are saying that it sucks, ah, I get that all the time. You can ignore them cause they don't make games, don't know the pain of doing it, and they say so probably because they can't beat the game or aren't smart enough to play it right. Bottomline is, this game doesn't suck at all. I'll be recommending it to friends if I have the chance.
[Rating: 5 stars]
I'm really glad you liked it! I'll go check out your game sometime today. I figure anything is going to get people who are opposed to it and want to see it burn. I think they are good for a laugh. Thanks for the review man!
This is nice
[BAD: ]
It doesn't really have much bad stuff, probably the interface/graphics can be nicer.
[GOOD: ]
This would really really REALLY help newbies who want to make new flash sites/stuff. I didn't have this back when I started, so I had to learn everything the hard way. I recommend this to all newbies.
[My rating: 4 stars]
I don't understand something, but still cool
[BAD: ]
You need to work on the graphics but if you've really burnt yourself out and stuff, then it's OK.
[GOOD: ]
Really fun, very nice game.
[Note:]
Here's the part I don't understand. It's got only a decent score, 3.31 (at the time I'm viewing this) and it's frontpage. Though the score keeps dropping, i can see that this flash deserves the frontpage. You are one lucky programmer! Other authors send in good submissions with awesome scores that disappear into the nothingness of the portal. (me and lots of other authors). What discouragement. WHY?! But yours is noticed and will be immortalized!! Keep up the good work!
[My rating: 5 stars]
COOL
[BAD: ]
The movie is basic, just showing a saber-brandishing scene.
I was hoping for a lightsaber battle.
[GOOD: ]
Really nice, really informative, really cool, really real, really helpful.
[My rating: 5 stars]
NICE
[BAD: ]
I think you should use a backdrop or something so that the background is not plain white.
And maybe you can use different kinds of shapes.
And different sizes of shapes.
It's too plain...
[GOOD: ]
The way the game is done and the gameplay is nice. You need to be quick with the mouse. No violence, no cool stuff, but the addictive gameplay makes the game awesome.
My rating: [4 stars]
Thanks man !
A newx version is in the making.
It will feature this mode, a practice mode where you can set the speed, a story mode with blocks flying in groups and shapes, and a collect these blocks avoid those blocks, and they speed up-mode :-). I'll also provide some more challenge by time or anything like that, background selection, more music, fullscreen mode, and maybe even a php highscore list... thanks for your tips and advice :-)
